HEMIX VIBRO

Additive description

HEMIX VIBRO is a superplasticizer, water reducer, strength gain gas pedal and in terms of consumer properties meets the requirements of GOST 24 211-2008 "Additives for concrete and mortars. General technical conditions".

Field of application

HEMIX VIBRO is used for production of stiff and slow-moving concrete mixtures by semi-dry vibro-pressing method. The admixture is optimal for the production of paving stones, concrete products for pipes and block steps.

HEMIX VIBRO is also suitable for the production of:
products by the method of non-shuttering molding;
precast concrete products and structures by semi-dry vibrocompression.

The additive can be used for the production of products by extrusion.

Advantages

The use of HEMIX VIBRO allows:

• significantly reduce the time of molding of products;
• obtain high early strength;
• ensure strictly specified geometry and homogeneity of the mixture structure;
• improve the quality characteristics of the face surfaces of products;
• reduce the amount of mixing water up to 25%;
• significantly reduce the time and energy costs for vibrating the concrete mixture.

Mechanism

HEMIX VIBRO adsorbs on cement molecules, fully utilizing the hydration potential, resulting in high early strength and improved formability with lower energy consumption.

The composition of the admixture allows for an effective sliding-lubricating effect that minimizes friction between concrete particles.

In parallel, the chemical stabilization of hydration products takes place, preventing capillary rise of salts. This helps to keep unfavorable efflorescence phenomena and the watertightness of the products under control.

Dosage

The additive can be used in the amount of 0.8-2% of the cement weight, but the optimum dosage for stiff and semi-dry mixtures is 1.6%.

The exact dosage depends on the concrete requirements and is calculated individually.

Application

• Mix the admixture before use.
• Introduce HEMIX VIBRO into the concrete mix together with the first portions of water required for mixing.
• Allow sufficient mixing time after the introduction of the admixture.
• To obtain a greater water-reducing effect, it is recommended to introduce the admixture into the pre-mixed concrete mixture with a portion (10-20%) of the mixing water shortly before the end of mixing.
